I bought a tumbler called Egg-rocker 55 by Ziss Aqua two weeks ago. I am using it for the first time - don't have free swimming fry yet but am loving it so far! No regrets.

I've seen those around but never heard of anyone using them for Frontosa eggs. Where did you find the tumbler?

I am in Canada and so is that site. Not sure where you live.

They make a model even bigger than the 55 but this thing seems huge compared to many DIY ones I have seen.

Cost me close to $50 Canadian but I figure I can sell fry for $10 each from wild caught so I will get my money back with the first batch!

I've used the egg rockers too. They're expensive but nice. Currently i'm usung the plastic mesh kitchen strainers with an air stone/sponge filter under it. It's just a lot easier to pull the bad eggs.

I build my own. You can see photos of my tumblers in my photo album under my profile. I get all my tubes at Tap Plastics. You can order different size tubes cut to fit your measurements.

I guess i dont have a decent photo of the whole tumbler. For the top I used the Top end of a Sponge filter with uplift tube.
