Hi everyone, I picked up a nice looking 150gal on craigslist for $75 this past weekend. The only problem is, the plastic horizontal trim on the bottom front and top back is cracked. The braces on top (front to back) are fine, though.
Do i need to somehow brace the tank from left to right? The glass is thick and tank is solid, just wondering how much support that plastic actually offers.
I have a few ideas as to how id brace it, but would be open to any other suggestions if people have done this before.

cjenkfam, if its a glass tank its quite easy and well worth re silicone-ing it. I have 8 or so thanks that I have resealed without any issues.

I have a 180 with crack frame and all I did was put some Gorrilia glue on it just to play it safe. It was cracked about 3 years ago with no glue on it but when I moved it one time it cracked a little more so I glued the thing and then the last lime I move it the cracked frame held up nice but I messed up and put a chip the size of a quater on it. I thought it might leak but where my tanks are if that happened it would be to big of a problem if 180 gallons went on the floor. So I filled it up and waited for water to come out, never has and If moved it one more time since then with no problems.
