Just wanted to say hello, I will be setting up a tank for Frontosa and thought I would start here. I have been keeping fish for about 15 years, last year I shut everything down because i went away for work. I'm ready to get back in the game and share the hobby with my nephew who lives with me. We have been trading and bartering are butts off the last couple weeks and we have a few tanks going with more to set up. We are making a fish room in the basement and currently have the following tanks in US gallons: 90, 75, 60, 50, 50, 30, 30, and 20. We have less than $300 total in these tanks including the 180 gallon we picked up last night (6'x2'x2') which the frontosa will inhabit by themselves. Had you worried there didn't I ? I fully understand the size of these fish and the space the need to live

I will be keeping Burundi, they are available in my area at a reasonable price. Not sure how many though as there is a filter system built in to one end of the tank, and that shortens the tank by 9" :( i hope this is still enough room.
