I picked up several synodontis decorous to add to my 225gal with existing Petricolas. All of them are babies at 1.5" long at the most. I did some research and found out they are gentle but some say they are territorial to others. Whats true? Anyone here have them? They sure are pretty and wanna keep them. This is my frontosa tank with calvus, plenty of rocks and hiding places?
How fast do they grow? Are they peaceful to others? What's the average size? Thanks!

These guys are my favorite Synodontis because of a few reasons. One they are always out and swimming and are pretty peaceful to others. two they get larger then most syno but not to large like other cats. These guys will grow to a foot and be swimming around all the time. They are not extremely fast growers so you have plenty of time before they get large. I do see them at times fight among themselves but never seen one fight with any other fish. I keep two 8 inch ones that i grew up from 2 inch with a breeding group of WC Mpimbwe. I never seen them take an egg from the Fronts at breeding time but that could be because they are 8 inch syno and not easy to miss by the alpha.
