I was wondering if its okay to buy a large golden snail for my adult burundi colony. I will try to pick the largest snail in case the fronts get tempted to eat it. What do yall think?

Well..........i think it's worth a try.

Temperature wise it is possibly.
Most snails don't carry disease.
Golden snails seldom become a plague.

Just make sure it is really big enough.
I would start with just one and see what happens.

So you don't think the fronts will constantly pick at the snail? I know my mbunas used to harass the snail I used to have to death.

Heres an experiment I tried ill share with you all.
I put in a crayfish in with a full tank of Mbuna and Haps and not 1 fish even messed with it, ever.

Mr. Crayfish lived in there for quite a long time I finally took him out to make room for a few more additions, but experiment....success!
I was told a crayfish would be immediately attacked and killed by the cichlids, but In my case it was wrong...go figure.

I put 2 crayfish in mind and next day they were gone. During cleaning, saw the skeletal remains.
