2 L260 Queen Arabesques just went for $500.
Thats zebra territory!!!

If you know someone who has some, beg them for them.
if you are smart you give up adult moba for them.

I may give up a zebra for a pair.

tip.
I suggest you move on these plecos if you can afford.
L46 zebra.
L 333 tiger.
L66 tiger.
L174 panther.
L260 queens.
L411 monte dorado.
400, 250, 236.

These are all hypancistrus species.

Other then ancistrus, these are the only ones that you can really breed, so you can make some money off them.

They are all on the banned list, which means the price will go up.
just 2 months ago L260 was at 45 each.

How hard to breed these plecos compare to Zaire.

thats a hard question to answer.
there are people who had Blue Zaire 4 years no breeding, there are people who had them spawn the same week they got them.
IT's not all fish keeper skill.
some of it is just getting an old enough group, enough females, and luck.
in addition to basic husbandry.

ancistrus breed like convicts.
hypancistrus are harder to breed than blue zaire.

it can be done, but its not automatic.

the other plecos to get are.

L144
calico long fins.
calico short fins.
these can be bred.

all the other pleco species are rare to breed, so you will not make your money back, if thats a concern.

if its not hypancistrus or ancistrus, it will be very hard to make your money back, though you can certainly be the first.

If you can get them for that price, you should consider selling and shipping to USA.
Harder to find then Zebra Plecos right now.
I can find zebra all day.
A Queens shows up maybe every few months, and its just a few.

TR6,

Kevin has a wild male L260 that he got from me. I got him from a shipment Darrell brought in a few years ago.
