Will post pics soon of my 60 day old discus fry. I sorta stumbled into what turned out to be one of the top breeders in Japans shop about almost a year ago, and have some of the discus fold drooling =) Anyhow finally got some fry growing out, but it's only 11. Unfortunately work has been a little rough lately so I am not able to do as many water changes as I'd like, but I do have an abundance of filtration on their little tank. They could be bigger by now for sure if I had the time, but they look healthy and the shape looks pretty good nonetheless. The spawning pairs I have usually lay about 200 eggs, with well over half becoming wigglers. I was just trying to wait for full attachment plus a week or so before separating them. This time I got to full attachment of about 50 fry but in 3 days it dwindled to 12, and I lost one during the transfer (dad got in the net and flopped around (lucky it was only 1). Next time I will pull right at attachment and expect a decent number =)

So also again, great to see this forum up and going again. I will be ditching my current job fairly soon and thus have a bit more time to nose around here and show off my discus. Was very tempted by a trio of Burundi last month, but I have my hands full with 3 adult discus tanks and now a growout tank (I miss real water pressure for tank fills!!! )

Till the next time I have a few freee minutes
