Ok i have a question. I think 2 of my 3 comps have paired up. they are showing the gentle biting behavor and they are also staying together for the most part, except the the dominate male chases them apart. Now my question is The pair isn't the dominate in the tank. The paired male is not the dominate i should say. The odd ball male is. Now should i remove him and see what happens? or do you think i should just leave them in there and see what happens for a while?

I've seen them start at 2.5"

Also, thought I'd note, that they will pair when they are good and ready. My wild calvus started spawning right away while my wild muzi comps took a year (my wild orange fin comps took a year too).
