Hey guys,

I just picked up 2 pairs of WC Alto. Comp. Gold Head and 8 F1 Neolamp. Leleupi. They're housed in a 55. I also just picked up some long fin red marble calico ancistrus that will be going in that tank as well. I will get some pics up once they're more comfortable in the tank.

Marc

Yea, I like them as well. They have great coloring. I picked up 6 of them from a local guy. When they grow out, I plan to use a couple for breeding with other ancistrus.

Marc are the two males ok together in the 55? I would assume they stay at different ends of the tank.

Joel - They've been great together so far. From what I've seen, as long as I keep it aquascaped correctly, there shouldn't be major problems. Although I don't mind getting rid of the extra male eventually if I have to.

Here are the pics! The tank isn't fully aquascaped yet, but will be soon.

Nice Marc. Everyone looks happy so far. The Leleupi add some nice color. I have always likes the yellow look. Might have to get another 55 and set it up like you have. :bananna :bananna

Nice pics. The gold head comps look great. Do the leleupi get along with each other? I've been wanting to add some to my comp tank, I also keep 1.5-3 inch cyps in it to grow enough for the community tank. Do you think the leleupi would bother the juvie cyps?

Thanks guys!

I haven't had them long enough to observe their behavior much. I have noticed a few little fights between the leleupi, but nothing too serious.

They seem to get along well. They have quite a bit of room for right now until they get bigger. They're really fun to watch and do add a nice splash of color to the aquarium.

I plan to add 5-6 sword polyester plants. I have them in my troph Ikola tank and love them. They move with the water and add a really nice green color to the tank.

Marc

I just ordered some Cyprichromis Leptosoma Kerenge Island to go in this 55...as well as 4 more Leleupi to add a different Leleupi line in there. The Long Fin Red Marble Ancistrus are almost big enough to go in as well. I also finished aquascaping...it looks pretty good! I'll take some pics when I get the Cyps in and post them on here.
