Some of my tanganyikan buddies. I'm trying to get some better pics soon including all my fish, these are just a few.

My favorites are the 5 inch Orange Mwela and my Burundi who loves to photobomb, of course the WC black calvus is awesome as well. I will of course be moving the Frontosa into a 6 ft tank when he/she reaches 6 inches. Also - i have since taken the bubbler out, and moved around some of the plant life.

Thanks! This is my office lobby tank - 72 bow with universal rocks "crevice" background and lacerock w/ cichlid sand. I LOVE the universal rocks backgrounds, IMO they're the best 3d BGs

Nice comps Bassetman! It takes them sooo long to grow. My big guy is between 4-5 years old.

I love that background....where do they market them? it Looks incredible. The Comps and calvus grow slow but ARE FUN fish to watch.....good tank mates for the young fronts and my cyps.

You can get them from a few different places- their official site is www.universalrocks.com , but you can get them from www.amazon.com or www.yourfishstuff.com

@ Basset - no prob, there are some great deals on yourfishstuff. I recommend the crevice, the "rocky" and the olga. The crevice is only around 150-200 depending on 4 ft tank, and 250-3 for 6 ft, which IMO is a great deal considering what it does for both your tank looks and the fishes comfort. my little front never felt comfortable swimming around the upper regions of the tank until i put in the faux rockface

@ian - thanks! i know right.. that jaw is ridiculous, and he's not afraid to bite my hand or a net with it. also - check out the blue on his lips.. its iridescent!
