Hey,

So, I may be getting another 6 footer and if I do, I'll be getting a Wild Zaire colony. Let's hope it works out. Wish me luck!

Marc

Man, I would love a Zaire colony, i have a 265 with Mpimbwe right now, They are my addiction, I cant get enough Frontosa, I am looking at getting a few more 275 gallon IBC totes and raising a colony and eventually breeding them.

The Mpimbwe i currently have are all males total of 8, they have never been apart, nor with any other fish aside from a few synd. cats, and a pleco, could i possibly add anymore to them? or would that be stupid?

If you were to add females, you would have to thin out your male population.

I don't think I could separate them, they are about 3 yrs or so they have been together since they were fry. Maybe I'll just have to get another tank, Lol. Also I have a breeding group of synd. petricola, I have 3 little. Baby cats. When I get some more from them I'll out them up for sale if anyone is interested

If you added females to the tank, they would separate themselves...haha. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
