Dianichi "Veggi Deluxe" is a good Tropheus food. Ya the shipping would be prohibitive.

What i would do with that tank.

1. A family of Brichadi. or

2. A leluipi pair for some color, a compressiceps pair, a julidochromis pair. or

3. A group of multifasciatis or similis and a group of paracyprichromis (too small a tank for cyprichromis). or.

4. I don't know that id put any malawi in that size tank, maybe electric yellows would be OK.

5. South American apisto's.

6. Angel fish pair.

7. a mixed pleco tank or a bunch of corydoras cats.

alot of things, just not frontosa or tropheus.

Hi Friends !!!

Thanks for being as caring as ever and for guiding me... (man I really missed the hobby and this forum a lot in the last 2 years but I'm glad to be back) :) Also sorry for the delayed response - things have changed a lot and I dont have constant access to a pc or internet....

Anyways... Friends I'm really sorry but I guess I was too late to read the suggestions and my 10 T.Duboisis did arrive in the morning ( dont know if I should be happy & excited or sad now...)

I used a cycled internal filter from the 100 Liter tank and a HUGE Internal Filter designed for double the sized tanks - it moves the water a lot and looks like it will provide excellent oxygen content in the water. Also used the cycled substrate from the other tank and some water from it. An acquaintance also gave me a bottle of seachem stability (supposed to have live filter bacteria...) and I dosed the tank with.

The 10 little guys are really tiny (just about an inch) and are really very small for the tank right now...lol cant even find them in the tank at a glance... Anyways they do seem to be enjoying the flow pretty good and did eat some Hikari excell.

The tank is still partially bare bottomed since I just used a portion of the substrate from the other tank - plan to fill it up as a have about 2 bags of black sand left. Will do it later in the week or next week maybe...

Now I'm really confused and sad cause after a loooooooong time I think I just got back in to the hobby and found my lost love but seems I DID make a mistake if the tank size is not appropriate. I have spent all I could save and afford on these fish and looks it will be very hard for me to sell them in this city for now. These came in from a different city and I was dreaming of establishing a good breeding colony and maybe sell a few babies if I was successful...

Really dont know what to do for now... really tired and a little disappointed with myself and my situation... will write more soon... please do guide me if you have further suggestions...
