Hi
I need help please
I have 250 liter tank contain 12 frontosa ( 8-15 cm in size )
My first setup for the tank before one year was as follows https://youtu.be/YZmYqHEXRDY
This was before about one year
Half year ago I added fish mates to my tank
About 20 chichlid fish very small in size
I keep tank maintenance and feeding fish
Before one month I noticed many chichlid baby in the tank
Tenth of small cichlid fish yellow swimming and hiding and sharing food
They just keep growing and increasing
My frontosa keep growing too but not all in same manners
Some of them became about 15 cm
I need an advice please

1 - is my tank crowded for frontosa
120 * 40*50 cm
15 cichlid. 12 frontosa. And about 40 baby cichlid

2- is cichlid a good tank mate to my frontosa
3- is there any chance to have frontosa baby in this situation
4 - any suggestions please
https://youtu.be/xIiEuRnN-B8
Thank you

you're other malawi mbuna cichlids aren't going to be very good tank mates long term for your frontosa. they are far too aggressive and will probably wind up chewing up the fins of your fronts......or worse. your tank is also quite small for frontosa. your fish are already ready for a larger tank. much larger. a 6 foot 125 gallon tank is considered the minimum tank size for frontosa. my advice would be to keep your other cichlids in your current tank and save up some money for a larger tank just for your frontosa. do this and your fish will all be much happier and down the line you will have a chance at seeing some breeding. :luck
