I have a group of 12 fronts approcahing breeding age, my tank is 8 foot long and in time will be stocked with the 12 fronts, a varity of fancy plecos,a group of leleupi, julidochromis, Black calvus, gold head comps and a group of cuckoo synos. The fronts are currently in there with plecos and some Malawis, I am just wating for the other tangs to grow out then I will remove Malawis.

I know the look want as far as rock work goes, but I dont know what substract to go with.My back panel of glass is painted black currently.

My question is light or dark sub? I want to get the best mix of coluration from the fish to look at but also making them comfortable in there home.

Thoughts, ideas, suggestions please
