How big are your Burundis?

I don't even know what a chinese hifin banded shark is so I can't really help you.

Probaly not the best idea hi fins need a low ph like discus 6.5 to 7 fronts need 8 and up but they wouldn't bother each other but the hi fin will grow way faster than the fronts will therefore in a 75 with fronts they grow like oscars and arowana really fast

Hi,

I've kept my Frontosa Burundi with large Bala sharks for years and no problems, they make a great job of cleaning the aquarium as they normally go around cleaning Detritus sifting sand and making a good job of cleaning up. As Tank mates they swim in the upper columns and never bother the Frontosa. I'm even thinking of getting a Flag Tail soon. Check out my videos Macrobioticman on YouTube. I don't see any problems
