I have 12 burundis now and they're the only ones in the tank besides a few plecos. I want to get some tank mates that's aren't frontosas but get along with them. I was thinking some other tanganikans (spell) but I'm not sure what would go with them. I've had malawis with them before and it seemed fine but I want to get some tanganikans. Just don't know what to get or where to get them from. There are only 3 lfs that don't really have anything at all. Any help on what fish and where to get them would be great! Thank you!

comps and/or calvus. Razzo has some really nice ones for sale right now.

Thank you iandraco. I've been looks at the calvus but I thought they were all calvus honestly. Is there a big difference between comps and calvus, at least behavior wise? And another dumb question but what is razzo? I'm new to the whole online thing. I usually get my fish through a local guy who owns a zoo and orders fish for me.

calvus and comps are both a part of the altolamprolongus family. they look and act a lot alike. both are great choices. Razzo is a member here who breeds comps and calvus from his wild caught parents. he sells top quality fish at a fair price. i bought some muzi gold head comps and black congo white pearl calvus from him and am very very happy with them so i highly recommend him as a breeder.
