Frontosa.com is a website dedicated to the identification, preservation and care of the cichlid known in the fish world as Frontosa. The name Frontosa actually refers to a single species of the Cyphotilapia genus, which is currently composed of two members: Cyphotilapia gibberosa and Cyphotilapia frontosa. We as Frontosa fans believe that both gibberosa and frontosa are the most beautiful and regal of all the cichlids.

Originally I removed the post counter because you are not your post count. In my personal oppinion post count means nothing. Any one can make a million posts with the subject "Nice Fish" Although it is nice to receive positive comments regarding your specimen, post count does not reflect ones knowledge.

We here at Frontosa.com are pleased to launch the new totally revamped Frontosa.com. Originally established in 1998, we are thrilled to be able to continue the website that for over a decade was the premier frontosa website. We are going to be keeping to the spirit of the original website while bringing it up to date. We have many user friendly forums for everything from Front health and breeding to catfish and pleco's. We are pleased to also offer areas for both new and old world cichlids as well as many other areas.
